I’m sure at one point in time we’ve all been there. I know there have been times whether I meant it or not I’ve let people down. I know countless times I’ve let myself down. I’ve done things I’m not proud of. And other people haven’t been proud of. I’ve had conversations in my head over these situations over days, weeks, years beating myself up wondering how I could have done things better or should have made right or could have prevented some sort of hurt, pain, disappointment. But it’s ultimately how we choose to RISE above these situations and how we handle things moving forward. Owning it. Accepting the consequences and learning from these obstacles. I know I’m doing my best with what I have now and striving to achieve more. More for myself, more for my family, more for my friends, more for my community. No one person is perfect. Don’t be so quick to judge. Talk to each other. Be honest with each other. Try and understand one another. Your challenges won’t be the same as the next persons. There is no comparison. We all make mistakes. We all have setbacks.
